Chris & Kim got married on December 29th at Warwick House in Southam, Warwickshire and they were officially my first ever winter wedding as a wedding photographer! I REALLY wanted it to snow for them on their special day (worry about how to get home after taking some awesome photos in the snow), however they had to settle with the snow on the ground from the previous day!
From bridal prep till after the first dance when I left there was an incredible buzz in the air and massive feeling of love surrounding everyone. It truly was a memorable day for a truly lovely couple!
I met Chris & Kim at one of their friends weddings that I photographed at St Lukes Church in Kingsthorpe, Northampton and we got to have a chat afterwards at the wedding breakfast taking place in the lovely marquee at The Brampton Halt in rural Northamptonshire. They enjoyed seeing how I worked and interacted with people and made them feel relaxed that sealed the deal with this lovely couple!
We also went on an engagement shoot before the big day so they would feel more comfortable in front of the lens and around me as they booked me for the entire day! And we also got to take their awesome little dog Louis for a walk and get him involved too!
I loved Chris and Kims story of how Chris proposed in Central Park, New York and how this theme continued to play a part on their wedding day with table themes, cakes, sweets and decorations around the venue.
